Greetings from Charlotte...

Thank's for considering my apartment for your stay. An apartment dedicated from a traveller and writer to traveller, visitors, friends, artists. Your stay allows me to sustain myself and explore new places.... Before I rented out the appartment I tried to live there for 3 years... but it did not work out very well.. Some places are beautiful for vacations but you need to be born there to live there continuously... Don't get me wrong.. it is still a beautiful spot... but when you are not from there you will never be from there.

However... after having jobbed in shops, at receptions, on cruise ships, as a tourist guide (my favorite) but yet it was not meant to be... I had to take a decision...

I received another job offer within the cruiseindustry and it would be putting me for about 10 month on a journey while working... and giving me time to think, to develop, to plan for how to proceed... So... my journey began... The cruiseship experience(s) and its preparation(s) and all I met have been a school for life and I would not want to miss any of it :-)! However it was not meant to last. Thanks to a friend who wished that everything would work out for me, the decision was taken to prepare the flat to be opened to traveller and guests like you who would appreciate its amazing views and its unique location and surroundings...

And in the meanwhile another type of travel journey would be able to begin for me. I am work&travelling by work-exchanges (a couple of hours of work and help in return for accommodation and meals) in private settings, in hostels, on organic farms, teaching languages. Cultural travel exchanges with a couch for a couple of nights or intercultural training courses on topics like human rights education... And from now and then...when budget allows as well a classic touristic vacation stay ;).. Focus for my travel: genuinely, authenticity, back to the roots, teach-learn-share where welcome, being impressed by nature... and being myself. And being an artist from the heart. I write lyrics, I sing, I am working on a book. I love, live or just take time to be an eremite withdrawing myself completely from people and persons.

All this is possible thanks to You... who are enjoying my home and exploring the beauty of Northern Italy while I am looking for new places of beauty.
